Student Makes Strong Case For “Humans > Robots” Argument
April 16th, 2010 – UMMS
Following a DaVinci Surgical Instruments technical demonstration, third-year medical student Michael Humminigan made an impassioned and unsolicited outburst on behalf of Homo sapiens. “I may not be able to eat electricity or juggle tractors, but I can still poop and die,” decried Humminigan. Witnesses report he then scuffed the floor near the machine and beat his chest before leaving the room abruptly. “I thought he made some pretty valid points,” the DaVinci Surgical Instrument commented, adding, “I can talk?!”
